OVERVIEW - INTERNATIONAL CONTENT MANAGER

Elevate is excited to offer an opportunity for an International Content Manager to lead a global marketing initiative in collaboration with San Francisco 49ers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital and social content strategies across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with 49er’s brand, messaging, and audience engagement goals.

You will oversee content operations, collaborating with regional community coordinators to create culturally relevant, localized content that resonates with diverse audiences. Your work will include leveraging local language contributors, amplifying regional content, and ensuring consistency with the global brand voice. Additionally, you’ll track local trends, manage content production and distribution, and measure performance through engagement data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for leading a digital and social content strategy in Mexico, UK and the MENA region that aligns with and supports the San Francisco 49ers brand, messaging and audience engagement goals
  • Oversee and coordinate international content operations, collaborating with regional social community coordinators
  • Develop localized content strategies that align with global marketing objectives while ensuring cultural relevance in each region
  • Utilize local, native language contributors to enhance content authenticity and appeal in each region
  • Track local trends to create culturally relevant content that resonates with each region’s preferences
  • Amplify official NFL regional content, maintaining the 49ers' brand voice, and driving visibility through local NFL promotions tailored to each region
  • Oversee the production and distribution of global content across all digital marketing platforms inclusive of social media, YouTube, web and app, ensuring it aligns with brand objectives and regional needs
  • Adapt existing content features and develop new formats to enhance engagement in local markets
  • Assist in writing and translating articles for high-quality, localized content
  • Support the curation and distribution of international email newsletters tailored to market needs
  • Track proof-of-performance metrics and create recap and benchmarking presentations to measure the success of content initiatives
  • Analyze engagement data to refine strategies and improve content performance across regions

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3-5 years of digital media/marketing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Fluency in Arabic is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proven experience in digital and social content strategy, preferably in an international or multi-region context.
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in content management tools, social media platforms, and analytics tools to track performance and engagement.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and translation skills, with a focus on creating high-quality, localized content.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams.
  • Experience with YouTube, podcast management, and email newsletter curation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement data and adjust strategies for optimal performance.

TRAVEL, WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • This role may require working flexible hours to accommodate international time zones
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
  • This role will be in an office environment
  • Travel will be required to support international events or meetings

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this role is $95,00 - $110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in San Francisco, CA, New York City, NY, Charlotte, NC, or Nashville, TN.  An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
