Ticketing Coordinator - Overview:
This Ticketing Coordinator role will be part of a groundbreaking collaboration between two powerhouse brands in Penn State Athletics and Elevate! In this role you will be jumping right into the largest renovation project in college sports history, and contributing not only to the legacy of one of the biggest college brands out there but, getting to leave your own mark in the process. This role offers one of the best opportunities you could ask for as it relates to kicking off your career as far as size and scope of a with immediate impact, project profile, and ability to lay a strong foundation for your career in the growing space of college athletics here at Elevate.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly respond, resolve and proactively anticipate customer challenges, complaints, requests and inquiries
- Effectively qualify and service incoming calls and/or in person meetings to customer satisfaction
- Support the ticketing department to meet or exceed yearly goals
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals
- Aid in data and research
- Assisting with Football ticketing needs, and other sports as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

- Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required.
- Ideally 1-2 years of involvement within sports or live events ticketing space. Entry level, part-time, or internships included.
- Experience in using either Microsoft or Google products
- Ticketing or CRM system experience a bonus, but not required
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrate an ability to coachable
- Must have ability to maintain professional behavior and appearance at all times
- Must have a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Must have good decision making skills, solid judgment and interpersonal effectiveness
- Must be able to work independently as need
- Must be able to retain and stay well versed on policies and procedures and be effective in relaying them to current or prospective customers
- Must possess strong communication skills; be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong, active listening skills
- Strong ability to service others
- Flexible and reliable teammate, both within our unit, Elevate and Penn State Athletics
- Able to learn and be multi-dimensional daily based on where the needs are
- Goal oriented whether that is around driving revenue, provided service or helping daily operations
- Be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruptions
- Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information as needed.

- The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however is expected to attend additional athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year.
