Elevate97 is seeking to hire a full-time HR Generalist to manage and support a wide range of human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, engagement initiatives and compliance reporting. Someone in this role will need to demonstrate real-world experience managing a company HRIS, administering company benefits, handling employee relations and ensuring overall company compliance.
What You Will Do
- Manage the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screenings to onboarding.
- Maintain employee records ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date using HR tools and software (ESS, HRIS).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in the development and execution of the employee performance management process, including performance reviews and goal setting.
- Manage the creation, implementation and completion of HR-related employee training programs.
- Prepares and assists with counseling and employee disciplinary action.
- Assist in the employee termination process by gathering all necessary documentation and conducting exit interviews when applicable.
- Assist in managing unemployment claims.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including insurance coverage, COBRA administration, retirement plans and all other offerings. Act as the primary point of contact for benefit brokers.
- Provide support during open enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
- Monitor employee work comp claims and leave of absences. When applicable, review and process FMLA, STD and LTD paperwork.
- Maintain and update job descriptions, policies, procedures, organizational charts and the handbook.
- Assist with compensation management by conducting salary surveys and research to help develop and establish equitable wage structures and salary ranges.
- Orchestrate eTeam meetings, facilitate Coffee with Kate sessions and organize employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Ensure all compliance-related reports are completed and submitted to necessary entities.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist the team with any other tasks or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or a related discipline and three or more years of related experience. SHRM-CP, PHR certification is a plus.
- Knowledge and compliance of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other State and Federal employment regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Communicate ideas verbally and in writing to influence decision makers and report findings.
- Empathy and a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and work independently.
- Uphold a strong commitment to getting things done with a great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and HRIS systems.
Schedule:
- Full-time, regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
- Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience
