Warehouse Associate

Position Summary: Complete daily warehouse operations in an efficient, productive, and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and completion of orders accurately for delivery or pickup according to schedule (loading, packing, wrapping, properly labeling of product)

• Report directly to the Operations Manager with any discrepancies or issues that may occur.

• Prepare all incoming freight to be properly put away.

• Complete the loading and unloading of trucks.

• Properly storing product on shelves or racks predetermined by size.

• Properly filling out receiving reports (piece count, locations, initialing name).

• Communicate and cooperate with managers and coworkers.

• Complete certification of forklift/order picker training.

• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.

• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

• Wear the proper safety equipment.

• Perform additional tasks as delegated by management.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Must be able to work flexible hours/start times including occasional nights & weekends

• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to use mechanical and electrical devices and hand tools.

• Experience handling systems furniture.

• Detail orientated.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Frequently moves product & equipment weighing up to 50 pounds through warehouse and loading dock areas into finished customer space

• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time

• Must be able to remain in stationary position for long periods of time while riding in company vehicles

• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service finished goods

• Constantly positions self to complete service, including under the desks, files and in the server closet

• The person in this position frequently communicates with customers who have inquiries about their product - Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

• Must be able to detect obstacles from long distances, while driving or onsite

• Constantly works in or around construction conditions

• Constantly works in variable temperature situations, both inside and outdoors
