Job Overview
Immediate full-time long-term openings for skilled and experienced Pipelayers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site. Large concrete storm pipe preferred some manual digging will be required in
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of pipelines and utility systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, or sewage systems.
- Ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipes by using plumb techniques.
- Conduct utility locating to avoid existing underground utilities during excavation.
- Form concrete structures as needed for pipeline support or protection.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately follow project specifications.
- Strong digging skills with attention to depth and alignment requirements.
- Ability to plumb pipelines effectively to ensure proper flow and function.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques for pipeline installations.
- Familiarity with utility locating methods to prevent damage during excavation.
- Concrete storm pipe preferred
