Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and nurturing After Care Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and attentive, providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children during the late afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Engage : Ensure the safety and well-being of children during afternoon care while facilitating meaningful activities.
- Afternoon Activities : Lead age-appropriate activities, such as storytime, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and quiet time.
- Classroom Environment : Maintain a calm, organized, and positive environment conducive to learning and relaxation at the end of the day.
- Health & Safety : Monitor children to ensure a safe environment, including appropriate cleanup and hygiene practices.
- Snack Time : Distribute snacks as needed and promote good eating habits.
- Communication : Collaborate with lead teachers and communicate any pertinent information to families when necessary.
