Temple Ohav Shalom Center for Early Learning is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aftercare Educator to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 3-6 years old during our Aftercare program. The position is from 11:30AM until 4:30PM Monday through Friday and serves both our preschool students and kindergarten students from half-day programs. Five additional hours paid hours will be given weekly towards lesson planning and professional development.

- Supervising and engaging with children in age-appropriate activities, including indoor and outdoor play, games, arts & crafts, and other engaging activities.
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
- Providing afternoon snacks for students.
- Maintaining an organized and clean environment, including activity areas and snack areas.
- Communicating effectively with parents, fellow staff members, and administrators to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
- Planning and implementing a variety of activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance and any incidents that occur during Aftercare hours.
Salary : $16 - $20
