Job Description:
As a substitute preschool teacher, you will step into classrooms at our preschools and early childhood centers, providing care and education to young children. You will engage in interactive activities, and ensure a safe and positive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking for flexible hours. This role may be either on-call, or regularly scheduled depending on individual school's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
- Facilitate hands-on activities and play-based learning experiences
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
- Support the emotional and social development of each child
- Follow all school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Understanding of, or willing to learn, Jewish culture and values. People of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to different classroom environments
- Experience and background in early childhood education is a plus
- Must pass a background check
