- 37.5 Hours per week
Duration (Direct Placement, Contract, C2H): 24-25 school year
Job Description/Role Responsibilities
- Early Childhood (3-5 year olds with IEPs)
- Inclusive settings
- The more experience with Early childhood the better
- AM/PM Sessions (Caseload would be roughly 16 total split between sessions)
- Full day class (8 max students)
- Licenses will have to cover 3-5 years of age
- Resource – supporting kids in general education settings – accommodations – some pullout
- Regional program openings – more pullout services – more behavior needs
- The more experience the better but can be flexible with the right mindset
- would want the license to include K in it (do not need severely impacted cert)
- no fully self-contained classes
Must (Experience, Licenses/Certifications, Endorsements, Skills):
- Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching License and supplemental certification
- New Grads accepted
- 3 years experience preferred
- For Early Childhood – would prefer someone with a more extensive background working with that age group but not required
- MD Special Education Teaching License
