Fitness Manager

Your Role:

• Fitness center management- oversee the day to day operations of the fitness center
• Responsible for the financial and administration management of facility
• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines
• Monthly reporting (changes in membership, finances, personal training, group exercise)
• Oversee and assist with the success of membership growth and retention
• Responsible for the communication, development, organization, and marketing of on-site and virtual programs, services, and promotions to members
• Manage and update Elevation Boost Portal, Wordpress website and other technology platforms such as Intercom
• Oversee Personal training and Group Exercise programs and staff members
• Hire, train, motivate, direct and evaluate full-time and part-time staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and member-oriented and committed to achieving the club goals for profitability, service and cleanliness
• Group Exercise (on-site and virtual): Teach up to 5 hours of group exercise classes per week
• Personal training
• Responsible for all areas in the club including but not limited to: fitness floor, front desk, locker room, group exercise, fitness services (personal training, coaching, massage, nutrition)
• Responsible for all aspects of equipment maintenance including cleaning and scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs
• Responsible for daily equipment cleaning and organizing
• Lead staff meetings
• Fitness Assessments, Fitness Center & Equipment Orientations, Exercise Prescriptions
• Compliance with Centers of Excellence (company quality assurance)

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Emergency protocols
• Must be able to manage time effectively
• Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Certifications:
  • CPR and AED required
  • B.S. in Exercise Science or related field - preferred
  • National personal training certification - preferred
• 
  Experience:
  • Managerial experience in a fitness related managerial position - preferred
  • Experience teaching all intensity levels of group exercise classes - required
  • Personal training experience - preferred
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, Google Suite, and Canva
