This role specializes in the inspection of incoming components from different suppliers The Quality Control Technician works alongside our Quality Control Leaders to effectively communicate issues as they arise to internal stakeholders and our customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Audit and inspect the sub-assembly, in-process, and finish goods components to ensure quality levels set in place by Elevation Labs and / or the customer are met.Audit and inspect incoming components in a timely manner.Responsible for recording and properly document results of the inspection process of incoming components.Maintain communication cross-functional team members and management on problems and / or potential issues affecting production and inventory.Identify Continuous improvement activities and drive for measurable results.Ensure safe and efficient work environment.Assist other quality areas as needed.Elevation Labs provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics. Incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge & Skills : Ideal Candidate Qualifications : Must be able to problem solve, show a high attention to details and be very self-motivated.Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.Good communication skillsAble to communicate with all levels of employees.Bi-lingual is preferred.See that lean manufacturing practices are being followed.Basic Math Skills.Education / Experience : Quality Control Experience preferably in personal care or related industry.Experience working in a production environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishPhysical Demands : Regularly required to standOccasionally / frequently required to walkRegularly use hands to finger, handle or feelRegularly reach with hands and armsOccasionally / frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlFrequently required to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusThe physical demands identified above are representative of those that will be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Work Environment : Regularly required to work in areas where chemical materials are encounteredRegularly required to wear appropriate personal protective equipmentMay involve exposure to shop environment including variable noise levelsMust customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safetyIn compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that will be, or could be, performed in Colorado. Compensation for similar positions located outside of Colorado may differ.If performed in Colorado, the pay this position is $21.50 per hour.
