Job Summary
This position performs construction contract administration duties working with the construction group and independently to evaluate and prioritize work tasks.
Accountability and Duties
- Provides administrative support to construction staff upon request
- Generates and processes contract documents, bid documents, pay estimates, change orders and other required construction documents
- Assists in the construction bid process
- Coordinates construction reporting with development managers and clients
- Produces correspondence, memorandums, and materials daily
- Maintains filing, scanning of files, phone list and company contact list
- Assists in projects upon request
- Assists with assembly and delivery of construction contracts as needed and within deadlines
- Assists with construction project close out process
- Performs other duties as assigned by the construction manager
- Coordinate with internal departments to assist with accounts receivable.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience in the construction administration field
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Effectively communicates with all levels of staff in a clear, concise manner
- Demonstrates effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks are essential
- Ability to make independent decisions within a general framework
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam
- Is dependable daily and available to work overtime upon request and when needed to complete tasks on time
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Ability to deal with a fast-paced work environment with strict deadlines
