EV.Careers is seeking a Project Manager to spearhead the development of EV charging infrastructure on behalf of our partner, a company vested in the electric vehicle charging sector. This role demands a technically astute leader capable of overseeing charging station deployment from initial planning through final execution, playing a pivotal part in expanding sustainable transportation networks within urban environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete lifecycle of EV charging station implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Perform thorough site evaluations and generate detailed site development plans.
- Orchestrate utility service connections and establish necessary agreements.
- Secure required municipal permits and zoning clearances.
- Develop, track, and maintain project budgets and timelines.
- Supervise construction activities and guarantee adherence to quality standards.
- Address technical issues and collaborate effectively with engineering departments.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Minimum of 4 years managing complex construction projects
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Level 2 & Level 3 EV charging infrastructure
- Strong understanding of construction practices and building codes
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD review
- Exceptional project management and communication skills
- Valid driver's license, willing to travel 50% of the time regionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering license
- Advanced experience in EV charging infrastructure deployment
- Specialized certifications in electrical systems
