What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager/Sales Representative position at Elevation Sports?
We are seeking an sales rep or account manager with experience selling promotional products and/or custom apparel to businesses, schools, and events. Qualified candidates will actively work to grow existing accounts while also managing inbound leads. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual who can independently perform tasks with direction from the sales manager. They will become experts in the products we offer in order to match them with our customer’s needs.
Creating and maintaining good customer relationships while ensuring smooth sales team operation is a critical function of this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide custom support during the ordering process
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, chat, email and walk-in business
- Manage customer art requests with our in-house art department
- Utilization of our customer relationship management software to maintain accurate customer records.
- Taking care to provide customers accurate quotes based on their provided information, updating quotes accordingly when necessary.
- Assist in the management of online team stores
- Work directly with vendors like Nike, UA, Patagonia, The North Face & others by assisting with the order management process
Requirements
- College degree required
- Experience in sales in the promotional products industry)
- Demonstrate proficiency in our products and processes
- Basic proficiency/knowledge of Microsoft Office. Specifically, Word & Excel
- Basic proficiency/knowledge of Google Apps. Specifically Gmail, Sheets & Docs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task between day-to-day activities and long-term projects
- The ability to assess customer needs and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate department
