Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The Cake Decorator will be responsible for designing and executing cake decorations that meet customer specifications while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill catering orders and special event requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in baking and preparing cake bases as needed for decoration.

Skills

• Proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including but not limited to piping.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
• Experience in baking and food preparation, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of cake components.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics in pastry presentation.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
