Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Effectively communicate product benefits and usage to customers while answering any questions they may have.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash and credit card payments securely.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or online platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves as needed.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing training and support to ensure high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales; experience in the cannabis industry is a MUST.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
