We are a design-focused catering company looking for a Catering Event Chef to join our team! Our brand is modern, fun, and always pushing the envelope! Our catering hub is located in Owings Mills, MD and we cater all over Baltimore, surrounding counties, D.C, etc.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and improve existing recipes
- Coordinate with the banquet department to plan and execute special events
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary expertise with a focus on quality and presentation
- Proven experience in kitchen management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff at all levels
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in inventory management and ordering systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
