Eleven Recruiting is hiring a Business Development Manager to join one of our largest Aerospace Manufacturing clients sitting onsite in El Monte, CA. The Business Development Manager plays a key role in supporting the Business Development Team through CRM management, quote coordination, bookings tracking, and overall data management. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all business development data, supports proposal efforts, and helps facilitate smooth collaboration across internal departments. The role is highly data-focused, requiring exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and cross-functional coordination.


Responsibilities:

CRM Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update CRM data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and resolve data discrepancies to maintain CRM data integrity.
  • Generate analytics and reporting to support decision-making and pipeline visibility.
  • Track key business development metrics such as win/loss ratios, opportunity stages, and customer engagement trends.


Quote Development & Coordination

  • Coordinate and track all quote development activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, engineering, contracts) to ensure timely and accurate quote submissions.
  • Maintain a centralized quote repository with proper version control and accessibility.
  • Monitor quote deadlines and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted on time.


Bookings Log & Data Accuracy

  • Update and maintain the bookings log with real-time tracking of Client activities and contract wins.
  • Reconcile bookings data with Contracts and ensure alignment with revenue projections and forecasts.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies in bookings data for accurate reporting.


Proposal Support & Client Coordination

  • Assist in preparing and formatting RFI responses, customer briefings, and presentations.
  • Support capture strategy efforts by providing data-driven insights and reports.
  • Maintain proposal tracking logs to ensure compliant and timely submissions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance proposal quality and streamline submission processes.


Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Continuously evaluate and improve CRM, quote tracking, and bookings log processes for operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain standardized templates for quotes, proposals, and internal reports.
  • Develop and document best practices related to data management and business development operations.
  • Support team training to improve proficiency in CRM and proposal tracking tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the space or defense industry.
  • Proven experience managing CRM systems, data reconciliation, and business development reporting.
  • Familiarity with quoting processes, proposal coordination, and pipeline tracking.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
