Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Platform Engineer to join their team in New York, NY!
Responsibilities :
- Provide direction and technical support to ensure effective service delivery to multiple Cyber Defense teams.
- Partner effectively with the global SIEM administration teams and act as the lead engineer and primary point of contact when troubleshooting SIEM, EDR, and Insider Threat matters.
- Deliver the highest level of client service with professionalism and promote Cyber's brand with both business users and Engineering.
- Oversee EDR, SIEM, and Insider Threat platform activities, ensuring the protection of sensitive information.
- Support Systems and Network Engineering teams to optimize Cyber Defense Platforms protection and function including interoperability testing.
- Monitor multiple Cyber platforms including SIEM, EDR, SIEM log source health, and Insider Threat systems, for system and process alerts and follow-up effectively to mitigate operational risk in a timely and careful manner.
- Conduct and manage operational incidents, restoring service and avoiding further outage to avoid business impacts.
- Support business users with technical issues related to cyber defense tools, including SSL decryption, firewalls, and troubleshooting security-related problems.
- Create effective and efficient procedures for global Platforms teams to follow.
- Collaborate with global cyber security teams to align local practices with organizational standards.
- Exhibit exceptional leadership skills both internally and with MSSPs in building and developing team members; cultivate strong teams focused on innovation, agile delivery, and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement of governance and controls within the Cyber Defense Platforms organization, including capturing evolving metrics and developing processes that leverage cyber tools.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and trends to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
