Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an experienced SVP Director of Technology to join their team in Pasadena, CA!
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow an in-house technology team, overseeing vendor and consulting relationships, recruitment, and training.
- Prioritize client data protection by overseeing cybersecurity initiatives, such as penetration testing and firewall maintenance, to uphold trust and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management to forecast technology requirements, optimize the existing tech stack, and integrate innovative solutions in alignment with business needs.
- Strengthen existing cybersecurity protocols and continuously monitor for potential threats to ensure organizational resilience.
- Oversee infrastructure management across office locations to ensure continuity and operational efficiency.
- Oversee critical business applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and efficient lifecycle management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; a post-graduate degree is preferred but not essential.
- 15 years in IT, emphasizing client-focused service, with proven leadership in developing and implementing technology strategies.
- Skilled at engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from users to C-suite executives, with the ability to explain complex technology issues in accessible terms.
- Proficient with a wide array of technologies, with hands-on experience in system management, network security, and general networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, proxies).
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Background in IT systems within the financial sector is preferred, with understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proactive in addressing challenges, committed to delivering solutions in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with current Windows server, workstations, applications platforms, and mobile device management systems.
- Strong hands-on approach, thorough and detail-oriented while maintaining efficiency, and a commitment to continued learning and certification.
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
