Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an experienced Software DevOps Engineer to join their team in New York, NY!
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize GitHub repositories for version control and collaboration.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline operational tasks.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance our DevOps processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Certification in DevOps or relevant technologies is a plus.
Salary : $75 - $110
