About the role

We care deeply about SEO. It drives 1 million users per month to our site, millions of dollars in revenue, and we have an authority score of 68 on SEMRush. However, we’re in a huge market that’s expanding rapidly, and we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible. There is so much to do. Now is a critical time for us to make an SEO landgrab, and we’re looking for a technical SEO to lead that mission.

You’d work with our SEO-focused software engineers (currently 2, but scaling up), and direct our content creation efforts. It is a blend of leading the team & getting your hands dirty with plenty of hands-on IC work. Our best team members lead from the front and deliver high impact personally. You’ll be highly leveraged by the software engineers and writers you work with. This role is part technical SEO and part product manager.

Each new product we launch, or foundational model we release unlocks 1000s more SEO opportunities. For example, with our Text to Speech models we create mini-tools for each language, programmatic pages to showcase our voice library, and content covering the user journey. Now expand this to Voice Changers, Dubbing, Speech to Text, and many more! The opportunity is massive and has deep buy-in from our founders.

What you bring

Must have :

Experience winning position 1 for dozens, ideally hundreds, of highly competitive keywords

Experience scaling SEO to millions of users per month

Deep knowledge of SEO, keyword research, linking, and site audits

Rigorous reporting ability, with the ability to present the results of your SEO work clearly and without bias or spin

Product sense for making excellent pages that give the user exactly what they are looking for

Experience working with software engineers to get programmatic pages and minitools made

Programming and data ability such as python and SQL

Knowledge of LLMs and previous examples of how you’ve used them in your work
