After-School Sports Program Facilitator
Schedule: Part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm and Tuesday from 1:15 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: Various schools within Antelope Valley School District
Program Dates: 01/13/2025-06/27/2025
Expected Hourly Rate: $20/hour

- Confidently manage groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance.
- Connect with students and foster positive learning experiences.
- Pay close attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly.
- Ensure activities run smoothly and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Clearly instruct students and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Can improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed by paying close attention to student needs.
- Are approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids.
- Present yourself as a confident leader and a positive role model.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening.
- 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences is strongly preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Need 1 year experience leading activities in Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Kickball, Pickleball, Track and Field, Volleyball
- Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.
Candidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without an accommodation:
- Ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently.
- Sitting, standing, for long periods.
- Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity.
- Ability to move safely on irregular and or uneven terrain regularly.
