Expected Hourly Rate : $35 per hour

Collaborate with teachers to provide direct instruction and support to small groups or individual students.Act as a positive role model and build strong connections with students.Assist teachers in all aspects of the classroom, including maintaining a safe environment, managing supplies, and preparing instructional materials.Assist with assessing student progress, grading, and providing support when needed.Predict teacher needs, anticipate student behavior, and problem-solve effectively within the classroom.Invest in seeing the classroom from different perspectives and use your passion for language arts, math, and reading to make learning fun and engaging for allstudents.
ABOUT YOU
Comfortable supporting teachers in creating a positive learning environment for students.Assisting teachers with classroom preparation of materials and equipmentSupervising students during non-instructional timesProviding essential academic support to students (e.g., flashcards, drills)Grading assignments and maintaining recordsManaging clerical tasks such as filing, copying as neededAdditional Requirements
Requires : Substitute Teacher permit and Teaching Credential CertificateMust be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening reimbursed by Elevo.1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences strongly preferred.Must have reliable transportation.Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.Candidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without an accommodation :
