THE ROLE
As the RFP Proposal Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's growth and success by leading the development and management of RFP proposals related to educational projects. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling proposals that effectively communicate how Elevo’s programs and services can meet the needs of potential schools and district partners. This role will work within the Sales department directly reporting to the Senior Director of Content Strategy & Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including identifying, reviewing, and responding to RFP opportunities within the education sector.
- Write and edit compelling and tailored proposals, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with the RFP requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as curriculum, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to gather necessary information and resources for proposal development.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the specific requirements, objectives, and evaluation criteria of each RFP.
- Coordinate and manage the proposal development timeline, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to gather accurate and relevant content for proposal responses.
- Help develop and maintain a library of standardized proposal templates, content, and graphics for efficient proposal creation.
- Review and analyze RFP responses to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous enhancement of proposal quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in the education sector.
- Create additional content to support proposals, including our data and impact story, case studies, and more.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in successfully developing and managing RFPs or other proposal-related work in the education sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to articulate complex concepts concisely
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple proposals simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with various RFP processes, evaluation methods, and industry standards
Preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of the K-12 education sector
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant proposal creation tools

- Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of the proposal development process
- Proficiency in researching, analyzing, and synthesizing information from multiple sources
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams
The target annual base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
