THE ROLE
As the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead the development and execution of Elevo Learning’s talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent across California. This role is critical not only to ensuring the successful implementation of our K-8 programs in partnership with school districts but also to driving operational efficiency and scalability within the talent function. You will oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, build high-performing talent pipelines, and develop innovative sourcing strategies that align with both immediate staffing needs and long-term organizational growth.
In this leadership role, you will report to and collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition and departmental heads to identify hiring needs, streamline processes, and optimize operational workflows to enhance overall talent acquisition performance. You will implement data-driven decision-making practices to monitor key metrics, refine recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Given the high-volume nature of our hiring needs and the need to meet short timelines, you will excel at balancing operational strategy with execution, delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing recruitment team to ensure the successful execution of talent acquisition goals.
- Build and refine strong operational processes within the talent acquisition team to ensure scalability, consistency, and efficiency.
- Oversee all open requisitions while maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to meet high-volume hiring demands.
- Utilize and optimize the applicant tracking systems to track, assess, and manage candidates efficiently.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs, develop job specifications, and align hiring strategies with organizational objectives.
- Build strong relationships with department leaders across operations, sales, and field teams to understand talent requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Guide hiring managers through the selection process to ensure quality hires, often within tight timelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, industry networks, and talent pools to expand sourcing capabilities.
- Partner with marketing leadership to develop and implement innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies using social media, industry events, and referral programs.
- Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations and uphold best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Elevo Learning with professionalism and delivering an outstanding first impression to all candidates.
- Continuously analyze recruitment data and KPIs to assess performance, optimize processes, and enhance candidate experiences.
- 6 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or sourcing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing high-volume hiring processes with short timelines while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Strong expertise in applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
- Ability to build and lead a results-driven team while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Experience developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational growth and expansion.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

This position's target annual base pay range is $140,000 - $175,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, and skills.
