Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Strategy :
Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand Elford’s presence in the higher education construction market.
Identify new opportunities and foster relationships with higher education institutions, architects, and industry stakeholders.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with university administrators, facility managers, and other key decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact for higher education clients, ensuring alignment between their needs and company capabilities.
Project Leadership & Execution :
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Provide market-specific insights to enhance the design, planning, and execution of campus projects.
Work closely with operations, preconstruction, and design teams to ensure alignment with client expectations.
Team Leadership & Mentorship :
Lead and mentor a team of professionals focused on higher education projects.

Support talent development and recruitment efforts to strengthen Elford’s expertise in the higher education space.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, business, or a related field.
10 years of experience in business development, project management, or leadership within the construction industry, with a focus on higher education projects.
Proven track record of successfully winning and managing higher education construction projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
