Our client, a global leader in packaged good solutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Assistant Press Operator, to join our winning team in York.
Our candidate of choice will prepare , operate and maintain printing presses and ensures the quality of the final printed piece.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set up and maintain a quality product on the printing press while maximizing production.
- Loads raw materials and printing cylinders into press
- Washes up and switch different ink colors maintaining proper viscosity of inks during press run
- Cleans and cares for printing plates
- Watches print quality throughout entire press run
- Assists the press operator in any manner needed.
