Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial plastic products, has an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic, to join our winning team in Riviera Beach.

Our candidate of choice will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, welding and dispensing equipment, along with conveyor systems and production machinery.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements,
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments such as PLC’s.
Repair / replace defective mechanical / electrical parts.
Start devices to test their performance.
Setup and operate lathe, drill press, grinder and metalworking tools to make or repair parts.
Make recommendations for required parts for repairing equipment.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
High school education or equivalent.
3-5 years related experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
