Our client, a prestigious law firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Patent Agent – Electrical Engineering, to join their winning team in Boston.
Our candidate of choice will bring expertise in electrical engineering. This role involves drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Draft new patent applications by combining legal processes with a strong electrical engineering background.
- Prosecute patent applications involving new discoveries in electrical engineering.
- Communicate regularly with internal and client personnel, including Executives, Patent Agents, Intellectual Property Attorneys, Staff Scientists, and Engineers.
- Locate, review, and analyze relevant literature, scholarly articles, publications, and other patents.
- Contribute to drafting knowledge-sharing materials, including written reports, analytical summaries, scientific-opinion documents, and patentability profiles.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
Working as an in-house staff engineering resource, providing written electrical engineering content for legal professionals to use in drafting patent applications.
