About the Opportunity
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing equipment and parts revenue for ELGi Portable Compressors. Primary responsibilities include:
- Identifying, pursuing and securing new business from all go to market channels
- Recruiting and managing a dynamic team of Independent Rep Agencies
- Serving as a technical resource to customers by offering assistance on product and application questions
- Attending national and regional trade shows promoting the ELGi product line
- Acting as a liaison providing feedback to management on relevant market information
- Monitoring sales of assigned territory and reps to ensure sales goals are achieved
- Providing various sales and management reports as required - monthly forecasts, bi-weekly major account and opportunities update, and rep monitoring
- Managing Salesforce CRM system daily by maintaining account information, leads, and opportunity results
- Other tasks as needed or assigned
About You
- 3 years' related sales experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to manage and motivate a network of Independent Sales Agents
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, mostly in the USA and Canada, but occasionally to Europe or India
- Must live near a large airport in the Southern region of the US i.e. Houston, Nashville, or Atlanta.
