As a Custodian you are responsible for keeping office and plant in clean and orderly conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Mops all tile floor areas.
Cleans the following according to cleaning schedule:
All offices and conference rooms.
Cafeteria and kitchen areas.
Lab areas.
Bathrooms and locker rooms.
Entire factory floor (with hand sweepers).
Shop windows.
Follows procedures for recyclables and non-recyclables.
Disposes of all garbage.
Collects outdoor trash and empties garbage containers.
Collects all used shop rags.
Clean main aisles of factory floor (with power floor scrubber).
Assist maintenance technicians as requested.
Perform basic level preventive maintenance assignments and equipment assists
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
