Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role involves inspecting raw materials, work in process, and finished goods equipment to ensure compliance with company specifications.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience with inspection and evaluation of incoming raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
Responsibilities:
- Detects non-conforming materials and notifies the proper parties.
- Evaluates items against company-specified tolerances and acceptance criteria.
- Attends production meetings to review the current status of work.
- Monitors work activities to avoid damage to parts or inspection tools.
- Cross-trains in other areas of the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals.
- Capable of performing at least one type of non-destructive examination.
- Ability to use jigs and fixtures to perform inspections.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of inspection tooling.
- Prepares and maintains quality control documentation.
