Position Brand Description :
The purpose of this position is to provide production floor scheduling for a 24 hour, 7 days per week operation for API manufacturing. The Associate – Production Coordinator is responsible for the short term (0-3 months) and long range (3-24 months) plant scheduling through integrated tools and processes. Other responsibilities include being involved in plant-wide improvement projects as appropriate.
Key Objectives / Deliverables :
- Provide daily schedules to the production floor in order to maintain efficient individual plant operations resulting target amounts of API output.
- Facilitate production / shop floor meetings, where applicable.
- Provide weekly and monthly metric updates to supervise and track plant operational performance.
- Support site OSSCE processes
- Manage short and long term production plans.
- Convert, check component availability and release process orders for shop floor.
- Drive operations, QCL and QA to meet expectations of shop floor conformance.
- Run MRP (Materials Requirement Planning).
- Input the production plan into the master Schedule. Maintain master scheduling parameters (e.g., time fences, lead times which becomes a set of planning numbers that drives MRP.
