Counter Attendant
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Prepare and serve food items according to customer requests
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area and dining area
- Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed
- Upsell and promote menu items to increase sales
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Please note that this position may require standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
