Eliada’s mission is Helping Children Succeed. We provide a cradle to career continuum of services for over 600 children and youth annually. In partnership with families, we meet basic needs and provide positive child and youth development programming to all ages. We also have high level intervention and prevention services for children and adolescents that focus on social and emotional well being, life skills development, career readiness, and trauma informed treatment.
Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable position includes compiling and maintaining accounts payable by performing the following duties:
1. Reviews and processes all invoices, purchase orders, and check requests for payment.
2. Prepares all accounts payable checks ensuring invoices are paid on a timely basis.
3. Analyzes vendor accounts and answers all vendor inquiries.
4. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
5. Prepares analysis of accounts and assists with monthly closings.
6. Cross train billing
Position Description:
Department: Fiscal
Status: Hourly/Non-exempt
This position begins at $17-$20 with the opportunity for negotiation based off of experience and credentials.
Requirements
1. Assists with preparation for annual audit.
2. Assists with special projects, as necessary.
3. Ensures the provision of quality services to clients through participation in the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process.
4. Displays competence and responsiveness to cultural differences present in both customer and employee population.
5. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience: Prefer two-year degree in Accounting or equivalent experience. Six months’ experience preferred. Teachable attitude is a must.
Skills/physical/working conditions: The position requires computer skills in data entry, familiarity with Accounting Software, word processing and creating/maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
Salary : $17 - $20
