Our client is seeking product-aware engineers who are passionate, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help deliver the best mobile experience to our customers. The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched in mobile development, with a passion for leveraging the right tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Create rich and compelling native experiences leveraging the best Android UI guidelines by way of robust tooling to provide deep insights.
• Partnering with platform squads to define mobile engineering standards, best practices, and tooling
• Serving as Mobile advocates for the adoption of experiences that solve the needs of digitally minded customers
• Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and COEs
• Supporting a mobile-first world through upskilling and augmenting squads with deep mobile expertise

Experience Requirements:

• Your knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies used in creating performant, resilient, and robust Android apps
• Deep understanding of Clean Architecture with either MVP or MVVM.
• Experience building multi-module Android apps is a big plus.
• Comfortable with computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure adherence to software engineering best practices including object-oriented and functional programming
• Strong understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based development, feature toggles, etc.
• Understands the benefits of Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Good understanding of Android Jetpack as well as open-source libraries like Retrofit, and Kotlin to build modern, stable, resilient, and future-ready apps. Experience with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose is a plus.
• Good understanding of Android's Accessibility features and experience building accessible experiences.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
