Application Developer

As a Full Stack Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications. You will work primarily on back-end development (70%) while also contributing to front-end tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions

Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust software applications.

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Implement and maintain microservices architecture.

• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

• Work with messaging systems like MQ and Kafka for asynchronous communication.

• Perform database querying and performance tuning using Oracle, SQL, and No-SQL databases.

• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in full stack development with a focus on back-end technologies.

• Previous experience working in an Agile environment.

• Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.

• Experience with front-end technologies, particularly Angular.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools and practices.

• Experience with messaging systems such as MQ and Kafka.

• Proficient in database technologies, including Oracle, SQL, and No-SQL.

• Ability to perform performance tuning for database querying.

• Strong unit testing skills
