Application Developer

We are seeking a Senior Level Java Developer with strong RESTful experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in migrating our services from SOAP to RESTful architecture. This position requires a developer who is adept at working with APIs, API gateways, and microservices, and who can contribute to the modernization of our application infrastructure.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $55 - $63 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of services from SOAP to RESTful architecture.
• Develop and maintain RESTful services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with RESTful services, APIs, API gateways, and/or microservices.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with SOAP services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
