Our financial services client is looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of a new cloud-based brokerage platform’s Production Support team. The Principal Application Support Engineer will be responsible for on call production support of Brokerage applications on the cloud. This role will support a startup investing app. As a member of the team, you will work with teams with a diverse set of skills across product, growth, service, and leadership organizations to devise measurement strategy and deliver insights from diverse data sets
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2
Experience Requirements
- Extensive experience in Brokerage application development and support with strong proven understanding of languages like Java/Spring MVC, Node JS, GO
- Experience in microservices architecture & development for cloud
- Extensive experience in performance tuning, monitoring, solving application issues in a EKS infrastructure
- Extensive experience with setting up Application alerting and monitoring in a cloud environment
- Experience handling On-call production support and debugging application issues
- Brokerage back-office systems knowledge would be a plus
- Flexibility and adaptability to learn and support new technologies on the cloud
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage your time, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- MSCE or A certification is required, with MSCE preferred
- AWS certifications preferred (AWS SysOps, DevOps)
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
