Full Stack Engineer

Our industry-leading financial services client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying software in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement.
• Able to clearly present sophisticated technical solutions, ideas, and plans to senior management, business partners, and less technical team members as needed.
• Working closely with technology and business partners to design new features.
• Passion for learning the latest technologies and frameworks.
• Building positive relationships within and across teams.

Experience Requirements

• A degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related subject area.
• 6 years proven experience as full stack software developer, building enterprise web and middle tier applications using Angular and core Java with Spring/Springboot, REST Services
• Current, hands-on experience developing single page web applications from scratch in Angular 8
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
• Solid knowledge in developing cloud-hosted REST services in Java/Spring Boot that integrate seamlessly with multiple UI app tiers (legacy and modern).
• Proven experience with developing and deploying applications to cloud using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud deployment/application management a major plus.
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core and Terraform a major plus
• Self-starter and Self-sufficient developer able to work independently under minimum supervision and own the outcome of delivering high value solutions.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
• Develop high quality, maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Participate in all facets of the delivery process.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
