IT Business Analyst III

Description:
Hybrid role in Charlotte NC. Fortune 150 client seeking highly customer-focused and team-oriented Business Analyst III to join their dynamic team. This role involves working closely with Product Owners, team members, area Leads, and IT Leadership to drive the success of our customer mobile application. The ideal candidate will be a multitasking leader with a strong IT background and a passion for learning and hands-on collaboration.

Rate: $50 - $60 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• IT Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Serve as a key IT representative, ensuring high-quality work, dedication, and engagement.
  • Provide technical knowledge to support efficient design, development, implementation, and system interfaces.
  • Participate in testing and evaluation of new IT solutions.
• Problem Management:
  • Manage, consult, oversee, and resolve issues to drive the team forward across various areas.
• Analytical and Critical Thinking:
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, asking challenging questions throughout the product life cycle, including dependency planning, PI planning, and backlog refinement.
• Release Management:
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to understand release needs and expectations.
  • Work closely with the Release Manager to plan and prepare for bi-weekly releases and key rotations.
  • Engage in Go/No Go preparation, including discussions on phased rollouts, forced updates, and support readiness.
  • Attend evening releases as team representation, validating changes with developers and testers.
• Agile Facilitation:
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, End-of-Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Maintain the team JIRA board, ensuring planning, backlog, and artifact quality in partnership with the team and Product Owner.
  • Drive the team forward using the Agile framework, acting as an Agilist/Scrum Master.
  • Facilitate team decision-making and enable close cooperation across all roles and functions.
  • Ensure the team is fully functional and productive, shielding them from external interfaces.

Experience Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in IT with a demonstrated interest in learning and hands-on team collaboration.
• Ability to work onsite/hybrid 3 out of 5 days a week at the Duke Plaza location in Charlotte.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between technical parties and business partners, balancing deliverable dates with minimizing technical debt.
• Scrum Master certification and prior experience in an Agilist/Scrum Master role.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
