Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Principal IT Cloud Architect to work on a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Atlanta, GA. This position requires candidates to be local to Atlanta, working onsite three days per week.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $100 - $120/ hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Lead the design of cloud-native, scalable, and cost-effective architectures on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Provide expertise in designing solutions for infrastructure, networks, storage, compute, and databases in the cloud.
Architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments, integrating AWS/Google Cloud Platform services with on-premises and other cloud platforms.
Define, document, and evangelize cloud standards and architectures for AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Salesforce, SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises solutions.
Implement security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and data protection, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience, with expertise in cloud architecture and enterprise IT solutions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, and enterprise cloud integration.
Proficiency in Linux, Microsoft technologies, cloud-native architecture, enterprise caching architectures, microservices, and monitoring/observability.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
