Our client, a major Beverage Distributor in NJ, is seeking a Salesforce / Apex Developer to join their team - and work on site 2-3 days/week.
In this role you will build high quality code solutions to meet their ongoing needs in the implementation, enhancement and support of the company's e-commerce platforms and primary point of contact in the development efforts on multiple Salesforce projects.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Understanding requirements, reading tasks, following estimates, and developing the code / configuration for assigned projects.
- Follow the development process and adhere to the standard development policies and procedures using best practices.
- Contribute to the rest of the team and help share knowledge of the Salesforce platform.
- Work closely with others to understand business needs and objectives, using your knowledge of B2B platforms.
- Participate in meetings of various natures.
- The ability to understand the overall scope of the project, complete tasks in a timely fashion within estimated time and budget (where applicable).
- Demonstrate experience collaborating and communicating with a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels.
- Enthusiastic, professional and confident team player with a strong focus on success who can present effectively even under adverse conditions
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment, and ensure delivery of quality product.
Experience Requirements:
- 8 years of Salesforce Apex Development
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills,.
- 3 years of experience with Commerce B2B Platform, specifically Salesforce and Apex
- Educational Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Experience using CSS & SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, BackboneJS, Handlebars and other front-end development languages.
- Object Oriented Programming (Apex or Java), JSON, XML, Salesforce Administration (Sharing Rules, Process Builder, and Object Relationships)
- Experience using JS Controllers, Demandware Script, ISML Templates, Visual Force, Real time data exchange using Web services, and understand how to integrate to 3rd party code and external systems.
- Certifications: One or more current Commerce Cloud B2B Commerce Developer is preferred.
