Our client is seeking a Senior Agile Product Coach. This role will support multiple teams through an Agile transition and works with management to resolve issues relating to dependencies between these teams. They will work with specific teams to assist them to implement and improve their Agile Practices and stand-up teams and work with teams to become effective and efficient in their use of Agile Practices. The Senior Agile Product Coach will be responsible for ensuring that the technical environment and team knowledge is in place to ensure the projects can operate in an Agile manner.

Rate: $110 - $120 / hr. w2
Job Responsibilities:
- Be a coach for the Product Community and help them grow their product competencies.
- Work on the team focused on the Agility Org backlog
- Coach and train leaders of all levels and functions in Agile and Product practices at scale.
- As a Product Coach, work with the team and organization by modeling agile and product practices and methodologies.
- Facilitates transparency, inspection and adaptation.
- Coaches Product Owners and Product Leaders to raise and work to remove impediments.
- Fosters close cooperation across all team members, encourage cross-training and supporting each other.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the Product Community.
- Foster self-organization and growth within teams.
- Embrace servant leadership and display behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being agile.
- Coaches team and organization on how to build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment.
- Delivers engaging instructor led and virtual instructor led training to various learning audiences with varying degrees of topic understanding.
- Partners with other Agile coaches on the team, the Learning Team and other stakeholders to create and continuously improve engaging course designs, curriculum and instructional materials.
- Designs, authors, and edits eLearning, virtual, blended and classroom programs.
- Remains current on Product related industry topics.
- Continually grows his/her craft learning new tools and techniques in the areas of Product methodologies and training.
- Able to handle conflict resolution well, facilitating discussion and alternatives of different approaches.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Multiple (5 ) engagements standing up multiple teams to operate utilizing Agile Project Management and Software Development Practices
- Extended track record of delivering team training in a manner than ensures knowledge transfer
- Specialized skill set in one of Technical, Product Management, Project Management or User Experience
- Track record of resolving impediments that exist outside of the team environment – this might be working with line managers to prepare the technical environment for teams, or align team structure to ensure team success (e.g. collaborating with Enterprise Architecture group to on-board/off-board Enterprise Architects into a team for the first few sprints.
- Strong understanding and ability to articulate the business value of specific Agile Practices (i.e. answer the question “why do we do it this way”)
- Strong facilitation and diplomatic skills with the ability to read an organization and bring the right people into the team at the right time to get impediments resolved
- Played multiple roles on an Agile team
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
