What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Build Engineer onsite in Boston, Onsite interview required. position at Eliassen Group?
This role requires you to be onsite 4 days per week, close to South Station in Boston. Client will also require an onsite interview.
Primary responsibility is performing builds, merges and running / maintaining automated test suites. Performing non-production deploys, validating the deploys using the automated test suites, priming Jenkins pipelines for production deploys and assisting developers as needed. This is NOT a java developer, looking for somebody who has experience Build Engineering for Java applications.

Pay Rate: $55-65 per hr. W2
Experience Requirements:
- 7 years of Build Release or DevOps engineering experience.
- 3-5 years experience with Java build deployments.
- 3-5 years experience with Jenkins preferred or GitHub Actions, but we are using Jenkins.
- IAC with ability to read Terraform or Cloudformation
- Some Kubernetes microservices/cluster experience
- Maven or Gradle, and other CI/CD build tools
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with container-dxbased deployments and migration
- Experience with AWS deployments
- Ability / Experience with troubleshooting test suite failures
- Experience with test suite management
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GIT is a plus, not required.
- Experience with Selenium testing
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
