Senior Jasper Highcharts Analytics Consultant

Our Boston based Asset Management client is looking for a remote contractor. Very long-term potential, replacing a consultant who was there for a number of years. Jasper and Highcharts are the key skills. They are seeking a Senior level candidate who can interact with the business.

Rate: $70 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Jasper, a Java-based technology.
• Collaborate with client service and strategic marketing teams to generate and customize reports.
• Utilize Highcharts, a JavaScript technology, for data visualization including charts, pie graphs, and tables.
• Engage with users to understand their reporting needs and provide solutions to enhance report design and functionality.
• Work closely with other developers to ensure seamless data collection and integration using Java and JSON as the transport layer.
• Support the transition and knowledge transfer from the current Jasper expert.

Qualifications:

• Proven Jasper Developer with an understanding of Java.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with Highcharts for data visualization.
• Experience with JSON for data transport.
• Ability to translate user requirements into functional and visually appealing reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment, will be dealing with end users directly.
• Familiarity with the financial domain is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Experience:

• A few years of hands-on experience with Jasper.
• Background in finance or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience working in a remote setting and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
