Senior Java / Fullstack Engineer (Java/REST/AWS/GraphQL)

Seeking a Full stack / Senior backend focused Software Development consultant. This is a long term initiative where you will be responsible for designing and developing APIs, web and mobile user experiences. You'll work with distributed architectures, flawless deployment, enhance our technical stacks, provide ideas to improve our processes/products, learn new skills, and raise the bar both for development quality and team morale.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $62 / hr. w2

• 8 years of professional experience developing RESTful and similar API services (I.E. GraphQL) using Java
• Proven experience with REST API Design & Development
• Proven experience working in a Cloud environment using AWS.
• Demonstrable experience interfacing services with any major front-end technologies (iOS, Android, Angular, React etc.) - 20% of the role will be Front End Development, 80% of the role is backend (Java/GraphQL/AWS/REST services)
• Experience with Deploying and Automation Tools/Frameworks (Junit, Cucumber, Mocha, Selenium etc.) and using standard Agile/DevOps methodologies and CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Docker, uDeploy, Cloud Formation etc.

Java (8 years)

Cloud – AWS is a must (1 year)

GraphQL (1 year)

This role is heavy Backend – 80% backend / 20 % front end, Angular would be needed sparingly for this role (every now and then something client facing might come up)

Bachelors in Computer Science (or equivalent) is a must
