What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Elijah House Foundation?
The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure environment for residents and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The security guard will patrol the grounds every fifteen minutes, checking doors and windows, checking empty rooms and bushes. They will escort unwanted guests from the premise and make a report. They will encourage a client from leaving the facility grounds, if client insists on leaving, the security guard will notify medical staff immediately. The security guard will ensure the tidiness of the grounds, picking up any debris and garbage. They will notify medical staff when they are taking breaks and lunch. They will not loiter inside offices, buildings, or their car during working hours. The primary function of the security guard position is to observe and report.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspect and patrol premises regularly
• Monitor property entrances
• Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
• Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows
• Monitor surveillance cameras when available
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
• Aid people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity
• Submit reports of every suspicious action
Requirements:Requirements:
• High school graduate
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge in making reports
Salary : $16 - $20
