Assistant Teacher

We're looking for people who care about people. As an Assistant Teacher at Elim, you’ll be required to:
- Collaborate with teachers to implement, supervise and assess educational programs.
- Provide instruction, behavior management, personal care, and supervision/support to students.
- Collaborate with teacher and assist with activities of the prescribed programs including those written by related service personnel such at PT, OT, and Speech, including implementation of student’s communication program.
- Provide classroom supervision and instruction in the absence of the teacher.
- Assist students with personal care needs to include toileting, feeding, showering, and dressing.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Includes a 6 week extended school year

Education, Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Must hold or be able to obtain a substitute teaching license
